AI-managed means something specific.
Every Astia site goes through the same lifecycle: you tell us what to change, an AI agent drafts the change, we review it, and Netlify deploys it. That loop runs on every property we manage. Here is what each step looks like in practice.
How a change actually happens.
You
Email, WhatsApp, or directly in the CMS — you describe what needs to change. "Add the new tasting menu." "Update the rates for August." "The contact page address is wrong." Any channel that reaches us works.
AI agent
Our AI agent reads your request, opens your repository, drafts the change as a Git commit, and pushes it to a preview branch. This typically happens within an hour. The agent never deploys to production directly.
Marco
A human reviews every agent change before it goes live. We check the copy, the layout impact, the SEO. If something looks off, we adjust it or send it back. Most changes pass review in under five minutes.
Netlify
Once approved, Netlify builds the site, runs the optimisations, and deploys to a global edge network. Your visitors see the change within two minutes of approval. Performance scores are unchanged. Nothing else moves.
From signed contract to live site.
Two to three weeks. Four phases. You see the work at every stage. The build is a fixed-scope project; the maintenance afterwards is the subscription.
Discovery
We learn your property — the rooms, the rates, the booking engine, the brand voice, the photography you have. We audit your current site if there is one. We agree on the scope and the launch date.
Design
We design the homepage and one inner page as full mockups. You see them, you give notes, we iterate. Once approved, the rest of the site follows the same system. No surprises later.
Build
Astro project setup, all pages built, content migrated, booking engine integrated, performance tuned, SEO configured, multi-language scaffolding if applicable. You can review the staging URL at any point.
Launch
Final QA, performance audit, accessibility check, SEO sweep. DNS cutover happens during a window you choose. Post-launch monitoring for the first 48 hours. Then the lifecycle begins.
Why Astro.
Astro is the framework behind some of the fastest websites on the public web — Google's own developer site, Netflix's job board, parts of NASA, Figma, Microsoft. It generates static HTML at build time, which means no database queries on every visit, no server-side code to attack, and no JavaScript downloaded by default.

What direct bookings actually save.
vs. paying booking.com commission on 18 average bookings.
Assume a 30-room property, 65% occupancy, average rate CHF 240, 30% of bookings via OTAs at 15% commission. Shifting 18 of those bookings per month to direct via a fast website saves CHF 3,240/month. Astia Managed costs CHF 350/month. The math compounds.
